Humberto Ferreira receives the Advancement Distinguished Leader Award

Humberto (Bert) Ferreira, the director of information management for the Division of University Advancement, has received the Advancement Distinguished Leader Award – which is given to individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership.
In his role, Ferreira strategically manages the division’s information technology and provides business analysis and intelligence to the entire Advancement community.
The citation for the award notes that facilitating effective communications between those with a technical knowledge and those without can be challenging.
